Here at Electric Gates Direct we have been manufacturing and installing high quality metal gates throughout the UK for many years. We can build gates to your own specification or you can choose from one of many designs of which can be altered if necessary to suit your needs. Our metal gates are MADE TO MEASURE and manufactured in house. We encourage our customers to come and view the process of our products being manufactured if they wish before committing to any order, this way you can appreciate the time, effort and quality that goes into our products setting us aside from our competition.

With over 20 years experience manufacturing our metal gates they are made to the highest standards using heavy box-section framework, including the top curve/bows and middle rails. This along with the quality internal infill and decorative accessories ensure that our metal gates are not only aesthetically pleasing but are also exceptionally strong and robust, again setting us aside from our competitors. A typical example would be 50mm x 50mm x 3mm box-section frames with a 20mm round internal infill.

Our metal gates are also finished to the highest standard using first a hot dipped galvanizing process, followed by a mordant solution/t-wash pre etching process and finally finishing the products with a top powder coated colour of your choice. This not only enhances the appearance of our products but ensures the longevity of their life and reduces ongoing maintenance.

Any of our metal gates can be made to swing either as a pair or a single and if you are restricted for opening space or require a higher level of security then they can also be made to slide, either with a track or a trackless cantilever system. We can also manufacture them to look like a pair of gates then you can hardly tell them apart from an actual pair.
